About Us

Kokoro Fuku Tea (心福茶) began with a simple belief: tea should feel like pure serotonin in a cup. On a slow Sunday morning, around a crowded dinner table, or in the ten quiet minutes before bed.

We're a boutique Singapore tea brand. We buy loose leaf tea from growers we know by name, taste every batch before it reaches you, and keep our shelf short on purpose.

What's in our name

Most people know 幸福 (xìngfú), happiness. We swapped the first character for 心, the heart. To us, happiness starts there: with gratitude for the people who grow the leaf, and for the small moments a good cup makes room for.

In Japanese, kokoro means heart and fuku means blessing. Same idea, two languages.

Where it all started

Before Kokoro Fuku, there was Jing Cha (静茶), a quieter tea brand we ran in 2023.

Then came the lesson that changed everything. We paid top price for a tea that turned out to be something else entirely. In tea especially online or even sometimes from the source itself, the label and the leaf don't always match. So we stopped buying anything we couldn't trace and decided to build trusted relationships with our producers around the world. 

Kokoro Fuku Tea is the braver version of that shop. Same obsession with honest tea, and yet with nicer packaging for gifting.

We go to the source

We travel to tea regions in China, Japan and Taiwan to meet growers, walk their gardens and drink their tea where it's made. Those relationships took years of visits to build, and they're the reason we can tell you exactly where your tea comes from: the village, the cultivar, the harvest and the year.

That detail is on every single-origin product page. If we can't trace it, we don't sell it.

We say no. A lot.

Every batch is tasted before we buy it, and again when it lands in Singapore. If a harvest comes in flat, or doesn't match the sample, we turn it down, even from growers we love.

That's why our range is small and it rotates. When a tea sells out, it might not return until next season. If the next harvest doesn't make the cut, it won't return at all.

The people behind the leaf

Our teas come from small producers who'd rather let the leaf do the talking. Some prefer to stay out of the spotlight, so you'll meet them from behind, or by nicknames. We'd rather protect their privacy than put a face on a label.

Who we are

Kokoro Fuku Tea is run by Clem and the wifey. Clem handles the tea: the sourcing trips, the tastings, and every final yes or no. Clem is a certified tea master, but you won't need a glossary to talk tea with us. The wifey looks after everything you see and read from Kokoro Fuku, from our packaging to our Instagram.
